Please make sure that your student continues to read expository text and reads for pleasure daily.

All assignments that Emery High School students must complete contain expository or non-fiction text. Please encourage your student to make time daily to complete assignments and review and define vocabulary to strengthen their understanding of the information for academic and social emotional success. Ask your students questions about the assignment to strengthen their comprehension and or knowledge of the core subject. Also, have students to read an article, magazine, or book for fun as well. Please have students email teachers specific questions that they may have about assignments. We want our students to feel confident and to be Spartan strong!
